Compression stockings can be worn to prevent deep vein thrombosis or to manage lymphedema, lipoedema, lipolymphedema, and phlebolymphedema. Compression stockings can help to increase circulation, prevent blood clots, and help to reduce lymph fluid in limbs.

Compression stockings are also commonly used to help patients with venous insufficiency and venous stasis ulcers to increase circulation and blood flow to the limb.

Compression stockings are available different sizes and compression levels,
8-15mmHg, 15-20mmHg, 20-30mmHg, and 30-40mmHg.
